We will only be focusing on the nursing sections of the “HCS/TXHmL Interpretive Guidance Booklet” or areas that also relate to the nurse, i.e. rights. If you are trying to prepare for survey or avoid having a bad survey, I highly recommend you take this session and ensure your nurses at your program have looked at this information put out by HHSC. This is meant to provide you with what the surveyors are looking for based on each area of the TAC along with samples of what they might consider to be critical or non-critical violations. We have noticed that many providers and their nurses are unaware of the guidance tool. We hope you enjoy this session.
