Effective June 12, 2026, the Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership (TMHP) will transition to the TMHP IAMOnline platform as the new entry point for accessing applications on tmhp.com. TMHP IAMOnline manages user authentication and authorization to provide a secure, single-entry point for TMHP applications. The applications below are the first applications to be transitioned:

  • MedLog
  • Provider Enrollment and Management System (PEMS)
  • Manage IMD Clients
  • Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA)
  • Prior authorization (PA) on the Portal

Feedback from TMHP IAMOnline Volunteers Completing New Process:
1. If a provider set up their IAMOnline account for PEMS before Friday, 06/12/26, there will NOT be an app on the home page.  It will have populated on Friday morning, 06/12/26.
2. The website address for the TMHP IAMOnline is NOT the same as the website used for CARE and STEPS.  Make sure you bookmark both websites and are logging into the correct IAMONLINE portal.  (I think this will probably be the biggest issue for providers on an ongoing basis, we will have multiple IAMONLINE accounts/websites to navigate)
3. Once the apps have loaded to your homepage, the provider will be able to click on that app and it will take them to the PEMS homepage, or whichever application they select. The provider can also continue to access the old TMHP website to get to the application, but it will direct them to the IAMOnline verification when they go to login.  BOTH options should hopefully work.
4. When the next wave of applications roll out, if you already have the TMHP IAMOnline account, then the new applications, like TexMed Connect, will automatically populate onto your homepage, you will not have to go through activation again.
5.  Some volunteers noted that when they went to log into their regular TMHP account, their password didn’t work… turns out when they set the password for the TMHP IAMOnline account that became the new password for TMHP in general.
So FYI, when you set up your TMHP IAMOnline account, if you enter a different password than your initial TMHP account, it will become your new password on both.
It is hoped that the activation process has gone well for members or that if any member had to contact the EDI Help Desk they received prompt and helpful attention.  If you DID NOT receive the activation email, please contact the TMHP EDI Help Desk at 888-863-3638.
