Hello, hope everyone is doing okay out there.  First off, I know many providers and their individuals were affected by Hurricane Beryl, especially in the Houston area and we at Twogether Consulting hope that you are all in a safe place and hopefully power is restored for many of you and lines of communication.  I know this has been a trying time for all of you.

 

Twogether Consulting would like to thank LaShonda Dennis from accounting firm, Pegue-Dennis, CPA. PC for being our guest presenter last week for the “Free Resources Webinar Series” on July 9th, 2024.  LaShonda discussed how she and her firm can help IDD providers with general accounting needs and Tx Medicaid/Medicare cost reports as well as services such as: startup business consulting, personal finance coaching, TMHP Analytics Reporting.  Sending out a big thank you to everyone who registered.  We did send out the recording to all registrants and the handouts.  If anyone else would like to still see the recording, it is on our “gotostage” page for Twogether Consulting.

 

Please don’t forget to register for our 2-day summer workshop in Dallas, Texas on August 13th & 14th, 2024.  I know many of you have been asking us to come to Dallas for awhile now and this is your chance. Metrocare Services will be hosting our location. EARLYBIRD REGISTRATION ENDS AUGUST 1st, 2024! This workshop will have 2 focuses. Nursing will be on day 1 and care coordination/case management and quality assurance on day 2.   We are super excited as Nursing Innovations will be presenting the nursing sessions and Twogether Consulting will be presenting the care coordination/case management and quality assurance sessions. Twogether Consulting will have some guest presenters as well in between sessions on both days, including Molina Health Care.

We are happy to say that we will continue to provide whatever assistance we can with questions you may have, especially concerning HCS/TxHmL Care Coordination, Nursing, or general survey requirements from LTCR department in these programs.  We continue to assist those working with the ICF/IID program as well. We are currently providing on-site live training at this time and live training is open to the public as well.
FYI-We do still provide “mentoring” assistance for program managers, case managers, and especially for nurses.  We have 2 part-time RN consultants on an as-needed basis or we can refer you out to our partner RN consultants, Nursing Innovations, who provide IDD nursing consultation and/or training for HCS, TxHmL and ICF.  If you have new staff or nurses who need training quicker than classes posted on the calendar, please let me know and we do offer some of our previously recorded sessions for a low cost which includes the handouts.   We are happy to schedule one-on-one training sessions and mentoring with one of our consultants.  We can also refer you to another resource, if more appropriate.
