Important Note Concerning Entering Suspension Dates in LTC Online Portal.
The suspension end date is the date the suspension ends, before a person returns to service. When entering a suspension end date on an Individual Movement Form (IMT) in the Long-Term Care (LTC) Online Portal, the date entered must be one day before the person returns to service.
Using the correct end date ensures that the location and service authorizations are created correctly and prevents overlaps and billing delays. Read the full alert
Example:
An individual is on suspension while hospitalized and is scheduled to return to HCS/TxHmL services on 08/15/26.
Return to service date: 08/15/26
Suspension End Date: 08/14/26 (one day before the “Return to service” date)
Entering the Suspension End Date as “08/14/26” will end the suspension hold, allowing service authorizations to be created and billing to begin on the person’s return to service date.
