Rob Peek/ IDD Waiver Consultant (Utilization Review and CFC Specialist)
Rob Peek recently retired from HHSC. He is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin. Rob spent his 40- plus year career working within the IDD services community in various capacities.
- 20 years with a local Intellectual and Developmental Disability Authority (LIDDA) overseeing the provision of Waiver and General Revenue Services as well as Service Coordination.
- 8 years as Program Manager of a midsize HCS/TxHmL and CLASS Waiver Provider.
- 9 years with Texas HHSC regulatory, performing surveys of HCS residential settings across the state of Texas.
- 4 years with Texas HHSC Utilization Review performing utilization reviews of HCS and TxHmL IPCs, training UR staff, and providing training, technical assistance, and troubleshooting as a subject matter expert (SME) to LIDDA and HCS/TxHmL Provider personnel.
Rob is happy to share his knowledge, experience, and insights with the IDD support community concerning Utilization Review activities and CFC services during this session!

Julie is the owner of Twogether Consulting, which has been operating since 2004, servicing IDD providers across the state and in other states as well. She works primarily with HCS/TxHmL and ICF providers consulting with them on many issues and concerns and providing training whenever possible. She also provides some assistance for CLASS waiver and ISS providers. She often assists both providers and individuals with CFC issues in the HCS and TxHmL program, in particular with trying to justify CFC hrs to the Utilization Review at HHSC. Julie is pleased to welcome Rob Peek to the Twogether Consulting team and is hopeful that this session will help providers, families, and SC’s with these CFC issues.
