Loss of SSI Packets: Individuals who received notice that they have lost their SSI must submit the application packet sent to them to HHSC by August 3rd, 2026. If received by this date, nothing will change for the individual until a determination is made. HHSC explained that providers can check the TMHP LTC portal under Medicaid Recertification Date and search for August 3rd to determine the persons to which this applies.
After August 3rd, providers can check under Medicaid End Date tab/column to see which individuals did NOT submit packets.
HHSC added that a YouTube training video will be posted soon (no date provided) explaining the above. In the interim, providers are encouraged to view the current video at:
