Topics: Resources at DADS-Texas Administrative Code/Billing Guidelines/HCS Handbook, Marketing Tips, Basic Start-Up Process Packet-How To Set Up Consumer Charts (Paper or Electronic).  Interacting with the Local IDD Authorities- LIDDA vs. HCS Provider Duties, Consumer Admissions, Transfer, Temporary Discharge (Suspension), Permanent Discharge (Termination), What is a PDP (Person Directed Plan), IP (Implementation Plan)etc… **All attendees will receive handouts, recommended forms, and resource

Part II is a continuation and will also include the following information:  Setting Up SSI, Monitoring Medicaid Eligibility & Problems That May Arise, Putting Service Delivery Logs/Notes  in place, Billable Services on the Individual Plan of Care (IPC), Contracting Services On The IPC, and Discussion of How To Start Billing/Reimbursement Process.  Some Discussion of CARE System.
